ITO BINDERY Co., Ltd.
ITO BINDERY is a bookbinding company founded in 1938, located in Sumida, Tokyo.
We began by making notebooks using sewing machines, and during Japan’s period of rapid economic growth, expanded our work to include the processing of catalogs and leaflets.
As the needs of the times have changed, we have continued to work with paper, building upon our bookbinding techniques.
Today, based on this experience, we develop our own products such as the Drawing Pad and Memo Block.
What we value is not adding unnecessary decoration, but carefully refining what is essential.
This approach has remained unchanged since our founding.
Many of our products are manufactured in our factory in Sumida, Tokyo.

Company-Owned Retail Shop
Our company-owned store is located adjacent to our bookbinding factory in Sumida, Tokyo. It is situated near Tokyo Skytree and Asakusa. The scent of paper, the hum of machinery, and the artisans at work. This is a shop where you can experience the heart of manufacturing up close. We also host workshops where you can experience the joy of crafting.
